"Deep job cuts: The Trump administration’s layoffs of 10,000 federal health workers began early Tuesday morning, with some workers at the Food and Drug Administration finding out that they had lost their jobs when they tried to enter their offices and their security badges did not work. Under plans released last week, the cuts were expected to hit administrative, communications and other support staff.
