Battlestar Galactica on course for movie reboot, report

" The rumoured project, which is said to have signed on "Transcendence" writer Jack Paglen, will be a "complete reimagining" of the story, Variety reports. Glen Larson, who created the original 1978 series, is pegged to produce the silver screen effort.
While details are thin on the ground, a "reimagining" suggests that any upcoming Battlestar movie will depart from the acclaimed 2004 series, which starred Katee Sackhoff, Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell as star-flung travellers fleeing the destruction of the Colonies at the hands of the dastardly, cybernetic Cylons.
