Islamist Mohammed Morsi, leader of Muslim Brotherhood, wins Egypt election - World News
At the beginning of the Egyptian uprising against Mubarak I predicted if Mubarak was deposed the Islamic Brotherhood would win in Democratic elections. The reality is that the military, which has ruled Egypt since 1952, is still in power. Parliament was dissolved and presidential power was largely moved to the military. This power struggle in Egypt is far from over. A true revolution means that the class in power is overthrown. That has not happened as of yet in Egypt. Stay tuned.
